Born and raised in New York City, Brett Barshay graduated magna cum laude, receiving his Bachelor of Architecture from The Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture at The Macaulay Honors College at The City College of New York. His work focused in sociopolitical projects ranges from Affordable Housing, Prison Reform, and to Academic Outreach. Brett’s professional work spans the breadth of high-end residential design, efficiently and meticulously designed commercial fit-outs, to experiential art exhibitions. He has worked within the cannabis industry on cultivation facilities and dispensaries throughout the North East. He has also worked on numerous retail projects with clients such as Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch, Alo Yoga, Warby Parker, Rothman’s, and Madewell. His exposure to the stages of the architectural process enables him to work flexibly through any project stage. Brett approaches all projects with an emphasis on detail, conceptual purity, and architectural efficiency.
